When restoring our Hotel, we have recovered this beautiful Cantabria mansion "La Casona Montañesa", built at the beginning of the seventeenth century, to offer our guest a high level of confort in a fascinating environment which invites the visitor to rest and know all these wonders that surrond us.

All the particulars have been taken care of in detail during the restoration and the decotration so as to have ten enjoyable spacious room, each of them different, equipped with complete bathroom, television set, telephone, etc..., as well as an apealling apartament with Amerikan kitchen,living room two bedrooms and a bathroom whit jacuzzi.

We have a reading room, a cosy dining room with kitchen and breakfast bar, aperitifs or to have some quick dish.

The Casona also has a terrace where to enjoy outdoors.

The sorrounding evironment is privileged.

On the ons hand scarcely about 10 kilometers away the Valley of Cabuérniga can be visited, this is in area of great ethnographic value, where the beuauty of the National Saja Reservation can be admired and the gastronomy of the area enjoyed.

In the direction towards Asturias and at less than 10 kilometers away there is the village of San Vicente de la Barquera ideal place to taste fish dishes, walk along its steep narrow streets and finally, enjoy the sea.

Also, at a small distance of about 13 kilometers from Treceño we can visit Comillas, with its lovely beaches, its great countryhouses and places and its elegant atmosphere as well as Santillana del Mar, world famous fot the Altamira caves, and its collegiate church and its whole urban layout.

In the area a great variety of sports and activities such as hiking horse-riding, canoeing, hunting or fishing can be practised.

The nearest beache is 5 kilometers away, in Oyambre situatedo inside the Natural park of oYambre, area of great scenery.
