AGRUPACIÓN DE FABRICANTES DE BÉJAR

  

The Agrupación de Fabricantes de Béjar is a group of companies which has the aim of defending and promoting the textile industry in Béjar, town located in the west of Spain, in the province of Salamanca.

 

. The Agrupación began to act with its current denomination in 1939, although its origin go back to organisations such as the Junta de Fabricantes, the Unión Textil and even the Gremio de Fabricantes, created in the 17th century.

 

Nowadays our association has 28 members which cover all the phases of the wool textile process: wool scouring and combing, spinning, both card and worsted, weaving, dyeing, sizing and finishing and making-up.
